feat(lib): switch to non-blocking (asynchronous) IO
BREAKING CHANGE: This breaks a lot of the Client and Server APIs.
Check the documentation for how Handlers can be used for asynchronous
events.

feat(http): add optional serialization of common types via serde
This is behind a Cargo feature to avoid forcing downstream users to
depend on `serde`. It is needed for Servo IPC to work.
